The low-carbon transition is an unprecedented challenge.
To tackle it, A4MT has developed a new type of approach : the collective impact initiative.

A4MT’s objective is a multi-sector market transformation through a set of different projects

French Championship on Building Energy Efficiency

Created in 2013, the French Championship on Building Energy Efficiency is originally an annual competition for energy savings in tertiary buildings. To this day, the Championship consists of several leagues: schools, colleges, high schools, vehicle fleets, sports facilities, housing, etc.

This program aims to raise awareness among users and operators of buildings about the challenges of energy transition, encouraging them to change their practices and initiate a lasting change over time. We believe that the transition will not be achieved through top-down imposed changes but by fostering a desire for new low-carbon practices among individuals, who are both citizens and consumers.

Every year, hundreds of buildings demonstrate that cooperation and teamwork can result in an average of 15% energy savings, and even 30% or more for some.

French State CUBE

French State CUBE is a tangible and user-friendly contribution to the French state’s exemplarity in terms of energy efficiency. Two successive editions, aim to bring together up to 3,000 buildings. This collective challenge fosters emulation and strengthens participants’ commitment. Consequently it promotes the adoption and long-term sustainability of eco-friendly practices by all building users, making them agents of change.

CUBE WORLD

Cube World is a championship project for energy savings that aims in 3 stages to support public policies in drafting a regulatory framework for reducing energy consumption:

  • energy savings championship
  • use of results for the drafting of a charter
  • support for the drafting of the regulatory framework

C-CUBE

C-CUBE is an inter-organizational competition to reduce CO2 emissions in professional car fleets. For 6 months, teams consisting of employees who drive the company vehicules compete for first place of the podiums.

Le Booster du Réemploi

The Re-use Booster is a collective project aiming at getting property stakeholders to join forces in recommending the re-use of materials in order to ramp up, consolidate re-use in the building sector, reveal the demand via a platform (looping.immo) with the aim of stimulating supply and calculate the associated carbon and environmental benefit.

1’PACTE

The 1’PACTE operational framework aims to develop an essential collaboration between landlords and tenants for better service delivery and environmental objectives – it seeks to “pact” the principles before drawing the lease.

The objective is to achieve high usage intensity of the building, avoiding unnecessary spaces and poorly-used areas of the building in order to align environmental and real-estate performance through collaboration between the landlord and tenants.

LAB U

LAB UTILITIES is a collective program for accelerating low-carbon energy transition across the entire value chain of Light Utility Vehicles (LUVs). It brings together a group of leading companies representing more than 100,000 vehicles working on the evolution of usage and services related to LUVs in a global context of carbon constraints.

PLUS

PLUS, which stands for “Promoting the Logics and Uses of Suffiency”, is a collective project gathering do tanks, think tanks, professional associations, companies, experts and experts working as part of a large collective R&D programme seeking practical ways of getting organisations and individuals to adopt renewable low-carbon practises, with enthusiasm.

By-Cycle

Modeled after the ” Booster du réemploi “, the ByCycle Initiative – also known as the Bicycle Booster, is an initiative that aims to unify, educate and mobilize the real estate industry to encourage the use of bicycles in the city. To transform our mobility behavior, Icade, A4MT and Onepoint have launched this initiative with the objective of raising awareness, supporting and uniting building owners around a positive dynamic and a common reference framework. The goal is to engage 1,000 building sites by 2030, redefining the use of bicycle storage facilities and their access. The initiative aims to transform the overall quality of the buildings into a home base for new forms of mobility, becoming agents in the decarbonization process.
